I love the product. The sleek look. It makes me comfortable carrying my Kindle around, because it has the look for a simple notepad. I like the way the Kindle attaches to it very securely at the spine, and the magnet inside the front. An impovement to it would be securing the kindle a little better to the back of the cover so that it doesn't "pull" up when opening the cover.
This all said, I think it is overpriced and would like to see that modified.

Great inovation! No more lugging books in the luggage and chewing up my 50# weight limit when traveling. Easy to use, even for the beginner. For the 'non-techinical' individuals, please dont'be afraid to give this 'book' a chance. If you are a serious reader, you will pay for this book very quickly with the money you will save on the printed versions (and I always buy the hardcover so will save mega $$$).

The leather protector does what it's suppose to do, it protects the kindle when you are traveling with it, the one fall back is the extra weight and thickness of it.

my husband is blind and our family gave him the Kindle DX for his birthday; I subscribed online through Amazon.com to the Washington Post so he can use "text to speech" and listen to his newspaper everyday. We are Washington Post subscribers for over our 54 years of marriage, plus before that time, my husband lived in DC and subscribed to the Post for years.
I set up the Kindle Dx and he can listen everyday and loves it!

I just received A Kindle DX Leather cover for my new Kindle. I love it. It sloses magnetically, and protects the device from dirt, dust and abrasion. It has a good 'feel' and adds very little to the
weight and thickness of the Kindle.
