Now, I get my best reading done on the treadclimber machine at my health club. My first experience had me surprised to find the machine radically slow down. I checked to find out the reason, and I'd been exercising for 30 minutes already and was on cool down! Now, I no longer end the day feeling, "I didn't even get a chance to read for pleasure." I read at least 30-60 minutes a day! Thank you!

The Kindle DX is everything and more. It's easy to take everywhere, it's easy to get around within the menus. It's wonderful!

After using with great care for three months, this cover cracked my kindle today.
The latching mechanism is very poorly designed. It is just a matter of time before it cracks open the top left part of your Kindle.
If you have seen one, you would have noticed that the two 1/4" latches are cumbersome to use (both operate differently!). They can open only from front and in a top-down order. In my case, the top left latch got stuck and the lid snapped when I tried to open it.
The leather is decent-quality, neither rough nor smooth. Adds weight though. Looks fine from outside.
After having used the DX, I would suggest you buy a cover that is slide-in.
PS: Amazon promptly refunded the money for the cover and is sending me a replacement Kindle DX.

The cover was nice - good size didn't think it added anymore weight. Easy to handle and use. Just take your time attaching your kindle to it - looks complicated but not.

I got the larger Kindle. Love it. My husband also reads it and really likes it. I also like the fact that my Grandchild got ahold of it without my knowledge and somehow ordered a book! I call right away and they gave me credit and took the book off. The big screen makes it easy to read and hold and being able to change the font for my husband is great. Just in case you can't tell, I really like it and think the bigger one is the way to go.
